One thing you won’t see me do is writing about myself in the third person. Sorry no ghost writers here. I’m admittedly humble; putting it in writing and making a website about my accomplishments seems kind of contradictory to that statement. But, here are some cliffnotes that you may find important. I’m a self-starter and I enjoy conceptualizing projects and seeing them through to completion.
After over 12 years of working in video, I think the verdict is in: I have great time management skills and I work well under pressure; I know this because I have experience working in some of the most chaotic environments short of wall-street and an actual warzone. From professional sports, live ammunition fire drills, helicopter excursions, to interviewing high level government officials and professional athletes and celebrities. Although it's not preferable, I'm use to working on short deadlines, with little notice and executing emergency planning to get these done on schedule.
I can be exceptionally honest and won’t sugar coat if something needs to change to ensure a final product is the best it can be. In that same vein I always do my best to bring a solution when I point out a flaw.
I tend to lead more than follow, but when I’m given a supporting role I instill confidence in whomever is giving directions, that they can “fire and forget” and I’ll get them what they asked for with minimal supervision and that if I absolutely need help I won’t be afraid to ask. I can delegate responsibilties and tasks with the best of them and can be a well of confidence for my co-workers and talent.
I encourage you to stop reading this and look at my resume.
Top Recruit, my company, was founded to help high school athletes earn scholarships to college through online exposure. As my company I did the web development, event planning, graphic design, video production and market research. To find ways to reach the local demographic of athletes and increase the visibility of my website I used SEO, Google Ad Words, and designed and implemented PPC listings on Facebook and Google.
Choosing a favorite video is like a parent choosing a favorite child, they say they love them all equally but we all know that's a lie. These are some of my video projects that I've enjoyed working on.
Client: Seattle Police
On a timeline of a week and a half this project was conceptualized, planned, shot, and edited. It now has over 10 million views.
Client: Seattle PD/KCSO:
I Created this project from beginning to end to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of KCSO's Air Support Unit. It also doubled as a budget approval tool.
Client: Seattle Seahawks [NFL]
With a general concept for a TV Ad, I was excited to be able to build something from the ground up with little guidance and utilizing some After Effects skills.
Client: Seattle Seahawks [NFL]
I was tasked with creating a video and a teaser for the calendar release event. I spent 3 days shoot at different locations and had 4 videos done on a short turn around.
