OrangeCat Application - Travis Smith Seattle Concert Photographer - Seattle Based Concert and Action Sport Photographer/Videographer

OrangeCat Racing Application

Thank you for taking the time to visit my Portfolio.

About me

I started shooting and editing sports in 2005. Since then I've worked with the NFL (Seahawks), MLS (Sounders), NCAA (University of Washington, Stanford) and in Military/Law Enforcement (MSTOA, Seattle Police Department).

I've been a MotoGP fan since I was a teenager and over the last couple of years I have been expanding to concert photography, motorsports (Rally [ARA], and Motorcycles [MotoAmerica]).

My goal is to provide OrangeCat Racing with fast, reliable, and visually engaging stills and video that will give you the best to choose from.

Thank you for your consideration.

On-site Capabilities

My experience in professional sports early in my career has prepared me (and gave me PTSD) to work fast, edit fast, and deliver fast. When something important happens - we want to be the first to share an exclusive image.

FTP

If an assignment requires delivery of photos immediately to a remote editor, I am able to delivery directly via my camera (Nikon z8)

Onsite Editing

I will develop and customize Lightroom presets just for OrangeCat to accelerate editing and ensure continuity between photo sets for brand identity and fast turnarounds.

Fast Delivery

If turn around time isn't critical for an event, I still usually have selects edited and delivered with 24-48 hours.

Investing in the right stuff

You can be a great photographer but if your equipment isn't fast enough you will miss the shot or the quality of your images will suffer. While equipment isn't everything I'm well established in the Nikon family.

Nikon Z8s

I shoot in JPEG and NEF (RAW) for stills, and the Z8 is capable of 8K 60fps & 4K 120fps.

12 lenses

2.8 or faster

Low light, no problem.

Sports, Concerts, Events

Set your camera to burst and dont miss a thing!

I've been shooting for 20 years now ( It's hard to believe so much time has passed ). Here are a few shots I took that include OrangeCat from The Ridge in Washington. I generally don't post everything on my website so if you'd like to see my most recent work you can visit my Instagram or my past video work, on Vimeo.
